With a tremendous seven-member sound, Captain Squeegee bends the boundaries of music... fusing jazz, indie, & rock in ways you've never heard before. Since their mysterious formation in 2003, they have performed hundreds of shows, dozens of festivals & tours, released several albums, music videos, and created an award-winning web series & movie score. Now ocassionally playing with a full-size jazz band, Squeegee's horn-driven instrumentation and orchestrations are being described as "Fantasia music, with lead singer Danny Torgersen making like Mickey in a swirling maelstrom of flying horns, dancing guitars, broken melodies, and mad-prophet vocalizing" (Phoenix New Times) In their most recent years, the group created the "Lucidity Web-Saga" as writers, actors, and musicians, composing an award-winning movie score & writing it's theme song ("Your Own Invention"), which they recorded in a pyramid. More recently Captain Squeegee has worked too with the community, comissioned to make educational songs & animations for Public Transportation, and instructing music to s at "Camp Jam" in AZ & CA.
